Add, rename, reorder, set state, or delete the objectives that drive each quest's progress ring.

Hand-set objectives count toward progress but aren't credited to a session. Active means underway — it shows on the board and can carry a status note, but does not count toward the done fraction.

🛟 Player Note Recovery

Every save to a player's notes is kept forever in player_note_revisions. Nothing is ever deleted — a restore appends a new version. Use this when someone says their notes vanished.

Importing Your Roll20 Character

Pull your character sheet from Roll20 into this site. Do Part 1 once — then repeat Parts 2 & 3 any time you level up or want to re-sync.

Part 1 — One-Time Roll20 Setup

Go to roll20.net and open the Eve of Ruin game
Click the gear icon (Settings) at top right of the game page
Select "Mod (API) Scripts" from the dropdown
Click the "New Script" tab
Name it AsylumExporter
Open asylumgaming.net/roll20-export-script.js in a new tab — select all the text, copy it, paste into the script box
Click "Save Script" — you're done with setup!

Part 2 — Export Your Character from Roll20

Launch your Roll20 game (the script only runs when game is active)
In the chat box type: !export-character YourCharacterName
Use your character's exact name as it appears in Roll20
You'll see: "Character exported to handout: Exported Character"
Open the Journal tab (book icon in the right toolbar) and find the handout called "Exported Character"
Open it, select all the text inside, and copy it (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C)

Part 3 — Import to This Site

Click Characters in the left sidebar
Click the "⬇ Import from Roll20" button at top right
Paste your JSON into the text box (Ctrl+V)
Click "👁 Preview" — check name, race, class, and level look correct
Click "⬇ Import Character" — done!

💡 Tips

Re-import any time after leveling up — it will update your existing character automatically
Imports: name, race, class, level, background, physical description, backstory, ideals, bonds, flaws, and portrait
If Preview shows blank fields, make sure you copied the full JSON — it must start with { and end with }
